To improve your security, Pidge recommends the use of up to date browsers and operating systems.
Like most website operators, Pidge collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers, apps and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Pidge’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Pidge’s visitors use its website and apps. From time to time, Pidge may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website and apps, or provide non-personally identifying aggregate information to third parties.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Pidge’s website and apps choose to interact with Pidge in ways that require Pidge to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Pidge gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up to provide a username and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Pidge are occasionally asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. Users who use the team and scheduling functions will indicate their availability at different times and places. In each case, Pidge collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Pidge. Pidge does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Users can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain activities.
Pidge may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites and apps. For instance, Pidge may monitor the most popular clubs or events. Pidge may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Pidge does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
